HSYD supported essential surgical services in conflict-affected regions of Syria by funding life-saving procedures and supplying medical centers with critical instruments and consumables. Partner clinics performed trauma surgeries, emergency interventions, and priority general surgeries that had been delayed due to resource shortages. All operations were carried out in coordination with certified medical teams following humanitarian medical standards. This intervention significantly reduced preventable deaths and expanded access to essential surgical care in areas where health systems remain fragile.
