HSYD implemented a Water Well Development project across drought-affected villages in Sudan to address severe water scarcity. The initiative included drilling deep wells, installing hand pumps, and creating sustainable water points that provide clean drinking water daily. Access to reliable water reduced the burden on women and children, improved community health, and supported agriculture and livestock. The project significantly strengthened resilience against climate-related challenges.
